Description

Monumental mural on the exterior of a preserved stairwell of the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris, unveiled 6 May 1987. Haring painted it without payment 'to entertain the sick children in this hospital'. The New York Times reported its restoration in 2017, calling it an 88-foot-high mural.

Notes

Dimensions (~27 m high × 13 m wide) from secondary sources; the only outdoor monumental work by Haring in France per Noirmont Art Production.
